Hi! I'm Javi

Hi, I’m Javier Aguirre, a senior software engineer, entrepreneur, and tech lead with over 14 years of experience building AI-powered solutions and scaling products. I’ve worked extensively in startup environments, co-founding and leading my own company, Wealize Digital, and contributing to the success of several other startups.

At Wealize, I served as CTO, leading a team of over 25 engineers in building innovative products for a wide range of industries. Our work included AI-driven chatbots and disaster-response platforms, where we focused on efficiency, automation, and scalable infrastructure. After four years of growth and delivering impactful solutions, the company was successfully acquired in 2022.

Throughout my career, I’ve thrived in startup settings, where adaptability, problem-solving, and fast-paced decision-making are essential. My expertise includes full-stack development, infrastructure design, and process automation. I’ve also driven technical initiatives for other startups, helping teams scale, improve CI/CD pipelines, and reduce technical debt while fostering a culture of innovation.

Outside of work, I’m a father of two and enjoy writing music, using my guitar as a creative outlet.
